The story in Soul Knight revolves around relics that play a pivotal role in the world. These magic stones have the power to decided the balance of the world, but one day they were stolen by people with nefarious intent. This has thrown the world into chaos and it now needs a hero to step up and reclaim these stones through challenging battles.

You control the main character from a 2D perspective as you enter different ruins. Although these relics seem safe, there are various enemies that will ambushed and attack you. The number of foes is difficult to predict, therefore requiring you to use the skills and weapons at your disposal to defeat them. Additionally, you will receive support while making your way through each floor of the monument.

Explore ruins and attack enemies

As you begin to explore the ruins in Soul Knight, you will notice some enemies appear through red light columns. These enemies will continuously attack you, but you will be able to move freely around the room to find a suitable attack position. The weapon you are equipped with at the beginning of the game is a bad pistol, but it does not consume any of your energy. Over time, as you travel to different rooms,you may find chests containing unexpected rewards.

There are many reasons why you shouldn’t ignore chests when you come across them. They can provide items to restore health and mana, which can be helpful if you find yourself taking a lot of damage or using weapons that consume a lot of mana. Additionally,Chests present an opportunity for you to obtain more powerful weapons, such as bazookas with great destructive power. Each character is only able to carry a certain number of weapons at one time, so if you have too many in your inventory,you’ll need to choose which ones to keep and which ones to discard.

The best part about this game is that you can play with other people in multiplayer mode and take on waves of enemies. However, you will quickly realize that the number of enemies is significantly higher than the amount of teammates you have. In other words, a multiplayer room will take quite some time to finish, but it’s a great way to de-stress with friends.

Confront powerful enemies

Soul Knight enemies come in all shapes and sizes, but the bosses are definitely the most difficult to ignore. These powerful foes can be identified by their large size and health bars, so you’ll need to use all your skill and might to take them down. Be warned, though: this will be a tough battle, but it’s worth it if you want to make it to the next level.

The map of the monument you entered will be on the right side of your screen. The brighter square is where you are currently standing. You will also see various rooms that you’ll need to go through – don’t ignore these as there will be chests containing items you can collect. Your goal is to reach the portal on each floor in order to progress to the next one, collecting power-ups along the way. Choose wisely!

There are a plethora of characters and weapons you can obtain in Soul Knight, each with distinguishable traits that come in handy depending on the situation. You’ll never grow bored unlocking new content orfiguring out which weapon works best for you.
