The mobile game is wrapping up its Alola Season with a variety of events and activities throughout the next few weeks, including the appearance of Tapu Fini and the debut of Mega Legendary Pokemon. Here’s a rundown of all May’s biggest events in Pokemon Go.

May Research Breakthrough: Alolan Grimer

Starting May 1, Pokémon Go will provide a brand-new Research Breakthrough reward. Each time you complete a Research Breakthrough in May, you’ll have a chance to encounter an Alolan Grimer.

Field Research tasks reward you with research stamps that are tied to your breakthroughs. You’ll get one stamp for the first Field Research task you finish each day, and if you collect seven research stamps, you’ll achieve a Scientific Breakthrough.

May Spotlight Hours

Every Tuesday evening, Pokemon Go has a Spotlight Hour event. The game will highlight a specific Pokémon and bonus from 6 to 7 p.m. local time every Tuesday evening throughout the month of May:
