This week’s Air Adventures event will bring out the big guns, as both Mega Latios and Mega Latias are making their debut.
Pokemon Go is adding its first Mega Legendary Pokemon following its major Mega Evolution remodel. During the Air Adventures event, which will also include special Pokemon appearances and research challenges, Mega Latios and Mega Latias will be introduced. Here’s everything you need to know about the new event.
Event schedule
The Pokemon Air Adventures event begins May 3 at 10 a.m. and will end May 8 at 8 p.m. If you want to get in on the action, now’s the perfect time since all 500 million of these ultra-rare Pikachu toys have been sold out (presumably).
Mega Legendaries
The Pokemon Air Adventures event will include Mega Latios and Mega Latias, which have never been seen in the popular competitive video game series before. The Charged Attack Luster Purge is known to any Latias you catch throughout the event, but the Charged Attack Mist Ball is new to her.
