Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds reveals its new update entitled Legendary Ancient Genie, introducing lots of new content and challenges

The next major update for Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, which is still available in Japan and has been localized in Taiwan and Hong Kong, will be released by Netmarble. After just a month or so on the market, Ni No Kuni has seen incredible popularity and continued support, and this forthcoming update is no different; it adds new episode content, events, costumes, mounts, and even more.

There will be a lot of new features in this update, known as Legendary Ancient Genie. Let’s take a look at the highlights. The Legendary Ancient Genie will be available for players to encounter in the new special episode dungeon with either 1 or 5 other people starting right after the update goes live. He’ll be located alongside a new adversary, the Dusk Syndicate, and both will be necessary for several activities and tasks that will begin shortly after.

There will also be a new Legendary Ancient Genie costume available for purchase in the shop, as well as the Magic Carpet Mount. There will also be a new kingdom map called Flaming Knight Ras, and you may encounter some new field bosses while exploring the vast world of Cross Worlds. Stella and Mecharagon are two brand-new field bosses who might each drop some unique loot if you defeat them.

Finally, there’ll be two new events that will start shortly after this update goes live for a few days. The Legendary Ancient Genie Episode Guide Event is the first of these events, during which you’ll complete missions in a number of ways, such as hunting down Dusk Syndicate enemies who can masquerade as NPCs or playing the Episode Dungeon and performing various creative goals. You’ll get a lot of incentives for completing these objectives, including the Familiar Summon Coupon or Costume Summon Coupon.

The fourth event, the Toko Growth Event, is much simpler and consists of clearing the Toko Growth mission and any other Toko-related objectives. You’ll get Evolution Fruit, Jelly Bottles, 4-star Toko familiars, and more if you do so.
