Every New Pokemon as Revealed So Far in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Here are some of the new Pokemon that will be introduced in upcoming Nintendo Switch games.

Pokemon are about to get a significant upgrade. A new series of Pokemon games is on the way. This holiday season, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be released for Nintendo Switch, taking players to a brand-new, explorable region filled with new and returning Pokemon to collect.

Since the reveal, we’ve only seen a little of the games, but here are all of the brand-new Pokemon that have been announced so far.

New Pokemon

Sprigatito

Sprigato is a grass-type Pokemon that may be obtained in both versions of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The Pokemon Company

• Type: Grass
• Ability: Overgrow

Sprigatito is a grass-type Pokemon from the first generation. The grass kitten is said to be “capricious” and “attention-seeking.”

Fuecoco

Fuecoco, the fire-type starter Pokemon of Scarlet and Violet.

The Pokemon Company

• Category: Fire Croc
• Type: Fire
• Ability: Blaze

Fuecoco is a fire-type starter in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The pepper-shaped crocodile is described as “laid back” and “doing things at its own speed.”

Quaxly

Quaxly is a Water-type Pokemon that may be obtained at level 35 in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

• Type: Water
• Ability: Torrent

Quaxly is the final novice Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. The water-type duckling is described as “earnest and tidy.”
